Online Tutoring FAQs
How much do you charge?
We charge £60 per hour for our flexible online tutoring sessions, designed to support your academic success tutoring needs. Payments can be made weekly or monthly, and we kindly ask that payment is made on the same day that the tutoring session occurs, or in advance if you prefer the monthly option. Payment is made directly to our qualified teachers via bank transfer or PayPal.
What happens if we need to cancel a session?
Yes, of course. We do ask that you cancel scheduled lessons for our academic success tutoring at least 24 hours in advance, so we can ensure that other students have the opportunity to utilize the time slot. However, we fully understand that illness or unexpected events happen which mean you may not be able to give us 24 hours' notice. In these circumstances, we will usually be happy to transfer any pre-payments to the following session with one of our qualified online teachers. However, this is at the discretion of the individual tutor.
Are you flexible in terms of frequency and timing of sessions?
Yes, where possible, we will do our best to accommodate your needs should you need to make changes, however this will depend on the availability of our qualified online teachers. There are times of year when our academic success tutoring services get very busy, and we may simply not have the availability. Ideally, though, you will have a regular day and time reserved for you. We are happy for sessions to be as frequent as you wish, thanks to our flexible online tutoring options.
Are you qualified teachers?
Yes, we are all experienced, qualified online teachers with years of experience in the UK secondary education system. We have taught across a variety of schools and supported a diverse range of students. Our extensive knowledge enables us to provide academic success tutoring tailored to meet each student's specific academic and learning needs.

What platform do you use for online lessons?
We use Zoom for our sessions, as we find this the most straightforward and reliable platform for our flexible online tutoring. Students (or parents) will be sent their own unique Zoom link prior to the session. Additionally, we utilize Google Drive to facilitate collaborative working, ensuring that our students receive the best support from our qualified online teachers, all aimed at achieving academic success tutoring.
