We charge £50 per hour for online tutoring and payments can be paid weekly or monthly. We ask that payment is made on the same day that the tutoring session takes place, or in advance if you choose to pay monthly. Payment is made directly to the tutor via bank transfer or PayPal.
Yes, of course. We do ask that you cancel scheduled lessons at least 24 hours in advance, so we can ensure that other students have the opportunity to utilise the time slot. However, we fully understand that illness or unexpected events happen which mean you may not be able to give us 24 hours notice. In these circumstances we will usually be happy to transfer any pre-payments to the following session. However, this is at the discretion of the individual tutor.
Yes, where possible, we will do our best to accommodate your needs should you need to make changes, however this will depend on the tutor's availability. There are times of year when we get very busy and we simply may not have the availability. Ideally though, you will have a regular day and time which we will reserve for you. We are happy for sessions to be as often as you wish.
Yes, we are all very experienced, qualified teachers and have years of experience teaching in the UK secondary education system. We have all taught across a range of schools and supported a full range of students. Our experience and knowledge means that we are well placed to support all students, ensuring we can meet their specific academic and learning needs.
We are also experts in our specific subject areas and will be able to ensure your child is provided with the knowledge, skills and technique to thrive academically in public exams.
We use Zoom for our sessions, as we find this the most straightforward and reliable platform. Students (or parents) will be sent their own unique zoom link prior to the session. We also utilise Google Drive to facilitate collaborative working.
